Following our recent conversation, Messrs. Lucas have sent in a small 12-volt Engine Starter, which I hand you herewith, as fitted to the Wolseley "Hornet" Chassis - which I understand you will be taking down to West WitteringHenry Royce's home town in due course in response to DA {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} 3/M21.5.31.

The Starter is 3 1/2" diameter, suitable for 12-volt, flange fixing, standard drive. The direction of rotation is clockwise looking on the driving end.

If this is not exactly what we want, Messrs. Lucas will gladly submit alternatives.

ROY. {Sir Henry Royce}

ENCLOSURE. Starter.
