PHANTOM - C.2. SERIES.
---------------------

In view of the fact that we have received a standardization Sheet signed up by everybody with the exception of PN.{Mr Northey},we are drawing your attention to the fact that C.2. Series will be fitted with well-base rims suitable for balloon tyres 6.75" in section, having a traction tread.

C.2. Series will also be fitted with the lightened front axle, which, whilst it does not differ much in appearance from the existing axle, is a definite improvement in regard to reducing the weight of the front axle and having certain design improvements to produce better steering effects.

In addition, it will of course be fitted with hydraulic shock dampers to the front axle, similar to B.2 which we are at present producing.

Whilst it is possible, from the point of view of obtaining material, for us to apply the well-base rim using the 6.75" balloon tyre, to some part of B.2. Series, this proposal has been ruled out owing to the fact that the combination of well base rims, 6.75" balloon tyres, and the present axle has not run on a 10,000 mile test in France, so that for the present we are continuing with straight sided tyres and wheels suitable for same, until the commencement of C.2. Series.
