re Tyres.

CJ18/E25/3/26

In continuation of my memorandum of this morning, CJ2/E25/3/26, concerning suspension and tyres, it should be borne in mind that perhaps two-thirds of motor-car travel in this country is done on water-proof roads which are not so subject to potholes as the roads are in the neighbourhood of Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence, but unfortunately water proof roads are subject to corrugations and ridges caused by the heavy traffic of motor lorries and motor buses.
