Dear Sirs,

We have duly received your favour of the 17th inst., reference RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} 8AP, from which we note you are returning the two front brake assemblies less brake shoes removed from the O.S. assembly.

In regard to the alleged faulty shoes you are returning we will in due course let you have a report on same.

The price of £8. 8. 0. quoted relates to the complete assemblies, the brake shoes retailing at 31/6d. each.

The various parts you kindly ordered have to-day been forwarded, with the exception of the keys for the lockers as up to time of writing we have not received the locks for which they are required.
