DERBY.
Dear Sirs,
We thank you for your letter of the 15th inst. together with your drawing of Front and Rear Drums G.84798 and G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 84797.
We have carefully noted your remarks and we are going closely into the cost of producing these castings and will be writing you further in the course of a few posts.
We are arranging to cast the Front Drum G.84798 solid so that you can machine out the ribs but for the Rear Drum G.84797 we are taking advantage of the increased gap between the ribs, namely 0.450 as we think we can successfully cast these in for you.
We are pleased to note that you will be sending us an enquiry for other Drums and on receipt of particulars we shall be only too pleased to go carefully into the cost.
Yours faithfully,
For LEY'S MALLEABLE CASTINGS CO. LTD.,

SALES MANAGER.
