To D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to CJ. c. to E.C. X 3568 EL/4.3.21. X.3568 - GOSHAWK 1 BRAKE GEAR N.762 Kindly note the following remarks Mr. Royce wishes me to send concerning the above:- 1. The unsymmetrical channel should be used with the brake lever nearer the centre of the car as proposed. 2. The brake lever should be pinned and brazed together not brazed and clamped. 3. The interior spindle may be parallel when it passes through the channel near the brake lever if the distance piece should be a simple piece of taper tubing in steel without flanges. 4. Plain pins should be used for the brake forks. 5. Make sure that the speedometer cable is not broken on full bump by striking the brake lever spindle. No further scheme need be sent.
