X1487 To EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} from CJ. X1487 X4219 CJ1/D20.3.22. We are sending back the "Goshawk" Limousine. We asked for it to be sent up so that LHS.{Lord Herbert Scott} could try it with Mr. Gibbs. They are both of them very disappointed with the performance of the car, and we feel that no further "Goshawk" demonstrations should be given unless Derby are satisfied that the running of the car is sufficiently good for demonstration purposes. Mr. Northey says that the S.U. carburetter improves the performance by 45%. If this is so, to allow anyone to try a "Goshawk" with the old carburetter on is a fatal error and must not be repeated.
