SKINNER. Your Ref. Our Ref. TCS/DR Oct. 2/33. W.A. Robotham Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Mr. Robotham, I thought you may like to see the enclosed cutting from the Times. It may also interest you to know that my daughter, driving the car you know, clocked 33.1 seconds. She was outclassed, of course, being the only English car in it and the only one which was not supercharged. All the others were foreign racing cars. However, she made the best time in the bigger class and equalled the time made by the winner of the biggest class, i.e. Clay on the supercharged Mercedes. Kind regards. Yours sincerely, TCSkinner | ||
