TCS/DR Nov. 25/31. Messrs. The Margaretting Motor Works, Ingatestone, ESSEX. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your enquiry of the 24th inst. regarding a carburetter for a Rolls-Royce, and we could supply you with one large down-draught carburetter or two smaller instruments. Generally speaking with six cylinder engines our experience has been that more power is obtained with two carburetters, but this is not a fixed rule. We should advise you to get into touch with Mr. W.A.Robotham of Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd. as he will doubtless be able to give you some information as to what is best in this instance. Assuring you of our best attention at all times, we are Yours faithfully, For THE S.U.CO. | ||
