COPY THE MARGARETTING MOTOR WORKS. INGATESTONE ESSEX. Nov. 24/31 MESSRS. THE S.U.Co.Ltd. Dear Sirs, We have an owner of a Rolls Royce Car 40/50 H.P. 6-cyl., who is considering "hotting up" same. It has been put up to him by a friend, that if he has an extra large single down-draft carburetter, he will be much better off, and have better results than if he had two carburetters. The explanation given to him, was that two carburetter suit a 4-cyl engine and not a 6-cyl., and one carburetter was better on a 6-cyl than two. In the first place, will you please state whether this information is correct or not, and whether you are in favour of one carburetter to a 6-cyl. engine or not, and in the second place, will you please quote us for a single down-draught carburetter suitable for this engine, and state whether this will be sent out on approval for thirty days. In regard to trade terms, please leave these out of your letter, simply attach them on a separate sheet, as your reply will be shown to our customer. Any illustrations of your down-draught carburetter, or any literature connected with your carburetter, will be appreciated. Yours faithfully, | ||
