We have returned this car to W.W. today. The work we have done on it since it came to Derby this last time is that we have changed the crankshaft - previously this had a standard crank with a small pin. It is now fitted with a large pin crankshaft with balance weights on Nos. 1, 4, 6, 7, 9, and 12 webs.
We found the speedometer on this car reading high and it has been altered, now it reads about 1 mile/hour high at 60 m.p.h.
We have also fitted to this car a new exhaust manifold and a larger diameter pipe between the manifold and silencer.
