We think we ought to avoid asking the owner to change the oil in his steering box for Summer and Winter. We have been making worm nut steerings for well over 20 years and have not yet had to do this. Since the steerings only appear to stick on the left-hand lock, there would seem to be something to be investigated, and we are following the matter up. We are running the 20/25 in France with Whitmore's compound mixed with the oil, to enable us to give this a clean bill as soon as possible.
