I return herewith blue prints Nos. F.4612, and F.2330 on the former of which you will see my notes:-

"Convolutions of Buffer Spring so close together and flange clearance such that springs are not very excessively stressed, on buffer closing right up. Please get this on 2704B if it does well on bumping test".

It can surely be made better than our old standard and several should be made so that one can be on both 2704A and 2704B.
