Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/Mcr14/L10214. Re Steering Wobbles. X.457. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} for Mr Harkness. 10-2-14. With reference to the demon- stration of a low speed steering wobble made by Mr Harkness to Mr Haldenby on Friday last Mr Haldenby reports :- "Mr Harkness showed me a car with "wobbling steering. I do not know "what condition the steering gear was "in or what the tilt of the axle was. "I saw the car for not more than 5 mins. "and did not examine it, there being "not enough time. The car had "evidently been in for repair and was "shown to me just before being sent "away. The driver was waiting to "take delivery while it was being shown "to me. "I repeated my request to Mr Harkness "that I should like to have a car for "a little while, which he could not "cure of wobbles. He promised to let "me have one as soon as possible." p.
