Copy ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} from EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn7/H10.2.22 Re LUBRICANTS With reference to your memo ROY{Sir Henry Royce}2/AG7.2.22, in view of the fact that we have used Prices Oil for so many years and during this time they have been consistently satisfactory, both in regard to quality and deliveries, providing they are offering us something advantageous from a commercial point of view, we think it would be a good thing to make an arrangement as suggested by you for say a period of twelve months. There is of course always the possibility in making a contract, that either one side or the other will not act in the spirit on which the contract is based. Furthermore, there is always the risk that something better may be offered in the meantime. We think, however, as above stated, that Prices have given us no reason for distrust. EP.{G.
