E.C.C. J.D.53. X. 7535 P 7-2-30 X7535P Re Moulded Dagenite' vent plugs. As Mr Minchin says in his letter M/5 of the 5th inst, the vent plug will not be removed to any great extent during the 10,000 mile test. What we are chiefly concerned in is the acid spray coming from the vent plug which is a thing we want to avoid & guard against. This regards the wear in the thread that will be noted during the life of the battery & if any defects occur in the meantime these will be duly reported. I do not see any other convenient method of testing these unless one is employed to screw the plugs in & out by hand a few hundred times. G.J. | ||
