Dear Sir,

We have received your letter of the 20th. May, in which you ask that we make certain adjustments to our charge for the work carried out to the differential of your 'Ten', a request to which we cannot, we regret, accede.

Whilst we are really very sorry that the trouble was experienced, we believe that we have made ample recompense in supplying a complete new differential free of charge. In other words, you have a part which is normally retailed at £8. 10. 0d. for an outlay of £3. 4. 9d. plus the small labour and carriage costs.

We are sure you will on reflection, agree that our modest charge is one which should be paid in full.

Yours faithfully,
VAUXHALL MOTORS LIMITED.

G.W. DIMMOCK,
for F.Wright, Service Manager.
