Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr.Fowler-Clark.

With reference to the writer's recent visit to your works, we are, since our discussion then regarding magnetos, making one or two alterations with regard to the contact breaker and gears with a view to obtaining quieter running. These modifications we hope to be able to submit to you in a further machine very shortly. We shall be glad therefore, if you will be so good as to consider the machine already submitted to you solely with a view to determining its suitability to conform with the rest of your specification.

We are, Sirs,

Yours faithfully,
JOSEPH LUCAS LIMITED.
