We wish to confirm our remarks to you on Wednesday last re the above car. (1) Finishing Instructions. We agree to the complete car being finished in blue to the pattern which you left called Park Ward Metallic Blue. A portion of the pattern is enclosed herewith. The headcloth pattern chosen is the one returned herewith, marked SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} in fact the only one submitted. We would like a dark blue leather, similar to the piece enclosed, but a colder tone to harmonise with the paintwork. We would be glad if you would send us samples of what you can obtain. The carpet we leave you to obtain to go with the leather. (2) Axle & Propeller Shaft clearances. On PD.272 we shew the propeller and axle clearances. The rear floor consists of a central fixed sheet steel tunnel with two loose boards each side of Balso plywood. The side floors slope up to the central tunnel so as to obscure the latter under the carpet. Continued..... | ||
