Dear Sirs, Here are a few more particulars concerning the bushes we are requiring to try on our Packard car:- (a) 1.312 dia. Max. journal load 1100 lbs. Max. end load 950 lbs. Angular movement to Bump 9°. Angular movement to Rebound 13°. Neck diameter of centre pin .750" (b) 1.500 dia. Max. journal load 690 lbs. max. end load 490 lbs. Angular movement to Bump 14½°. Angular movement to Rebound 24°. Present pin diameter .625" Minimum pin diameter .375" We are extremely anxious to try your bushes, and would like them if possible to exactly replace the sample Packard bushes that we sent to you. To start off with, we had better have three off each bush. I am sending you a drawing of the Inlox bushes as fitted on the Packard on which we have marked the rough dimensions. continued | ||
