Thanks for your letter of the 16th instant regarding Mr. Clemson's visit either on the 22nd or 23rd June.

It would be most convenient if this appointment could be made for the 23rd, and as I notice that Mr. Clemson's train arrives in Derby at 12.40 it would perhaps be best if he came to your Works directly after lunch.
