Dear Sirs,

We acknowledge with thanks yours of the 29th ult.
with reference to supplying samples of our "Safeguard 400" Brake Lining for test purposes. We are very pleased to have this opportunity, and will forward four liners to each of the Blue Prints supplied within the next day or so.
The conditions under which these are supplied are recognized.

The wear figure of "Safeguard 400" is much influenced by conditions of test, particularly temperature. When set to work at 1 B.H.P. per square inch of lining, and at temperatures ranging from normal to 500° F.{Mr Friese} our material gives a wear figure of 270 B.H.P. hours per cubic inch of lining worn away.

Yours faithfully,
GANDYS,
(The G.B.M.Co.Ltd.)

General Manager.
