X No. 1333 Drawing No. 8410 5410 Part List (f) Origin. To improve design and reduce cost. Experimental Test Report. We have carried out bumper tests on the RR. spring clip supplied by Firths. We find no trouble with the clips although we have broken several springs. Road Test Report. One set fitted to 10-EX run 600 miles. It is considered that it is safe to put through this modification without long road tests. Tests will be completed before any of these springs are delivered. A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to Customers. B Scrap and replace on Chassis in Works. C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test.
