Fitting a Cam Balancer modification to chassis GHW-51 to cure engine gear rattle.

The above car has suffered from engine gear rattle on two occasions and C. decided that we should apply a modification similar to the one fitted to the Bentley. This modification consisted of a Cam Balancer and the parts were made in the Experimental Department and we fitted same. After a test of over 100 miles the car is in every respect satisfactory as regards gear rattle. This job has been done in conjunction with the Experimental Department, and they will agree when I say that in future if we standardise this Cam Balancer on the 25 HP.
