1036. To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}11/JH.12.6.39. Induction Pipes. With reference to special induction pipes in development adapting a duplex Stromberg carburetter (aero design) to a six cylinder engine. EXS.1527. EXS.1537. The bore of these pipes is 1.750. Will you please have one off each produced 1.500 bore, by inserting sheet lead in the core box. This process has been done before, and obviates having to make a new core box, and pattern. We realize that the wall thickness will be more than usual in consequence. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} | ||
