CRITICAL AIR TEMPERATURES OF EXPERIMENTAL CARS.

The following tables gives the c.a.t. of several of the Experimental Cars under full throttle maximum speed, and full throttle m/h conditions. No figures are available for 4.B.50; 11.B.V; and 12.B.V; as the standard of cooling on these cars has not been determined:

CHASSIS | CRIT:AIR TEMP: F/T. MAX:SPEED. | CRIT:AIR TEMP: F/T 30 M.P.H.
----------------|--------------------------------|------------------------------
30.G.VII. | 45.0 | 39.5
3.B.50. | 36.5 | 29.5
1-R-1 | 46.5 | ---- | With Mk.VI matrix and thermostatic shutters.
1-R-1 | 40.0 | ---- | With Mk.III matrix and fixed shutters.
8.B.V. | 44.0 | 37.5 | Towing tests at 40 m.p.h. in direct gear.
BUICK | 44.0 | 37.0
