(ix) THERMOSTATS

A Bentley V thermostat has been fitted to Mr. Martin-Hurst's car 96.K.T. in addition to the thermostatic shutters. It will be interesting to discover the reaction of this modification which was carried out at his request.

(x) UNDERSHIELDS

As soon as the Ripplet becomes available undershields will be fitted and sent to the Drawing Office for detailing.

(xi) RADIATOR MOUNTINGS

The latest radiator mounting using a single point with a roll-rod rubber is to be fitted to 11.B.V. when it next goes in the shop. This will then be compared with the other types of mounting already existing.

(xii) HOSE CONNECTIONS.

Supergrip hose clips have been fitted to several experimental cars. To date these are of course satisfactory but we feel that there will be a tendency to cut into the rubber. As, however, they cost less than half as much as jubilee clips they are a very enticing proposition if satisfactory.

(xiii) TEST BED WORK

A programme of cooling tests and heat transmission tests has been drawn up and as soon as possible these figures will be obtained on the test bed.
