Re Test on S1 battery (154)
This battery was taken off 5EX for bench test.
It was given a high rate discharge through an invariable external resistance of .100w & the result was very good.
The initial amperes were 109.2
Time to 1.04" = 3.0 mins
" " 1.00" = 12.8 "
" " .90" = 17.9 "
" " .80" = 19.0 "
This result is much better than when discharged approx. 15 months ago.
All cells were of equal voltage during discharge & showed negative weakness on the cadmium.
The battery has run 1654 miles.
