X.4617 - RE. LARGER 40/50 CHASSIS BATTERIES MADE BY P & R.{Sir Henry Royce} AND EXIDE.

Answering your Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}1/NJ28.1.24 and confirming our conversation. We agree and recommend that all cells of these batteries should have identical terminals of the flat surface connection type as on the present 40/50 HP. standard batteries so that all cells of both batteries will be identical and interchangeable.

This is not in accordance with the present wording of our present 40/50 Battery specification X.664 but we are now effecting an alteration in the specification the wording of which concerns this item, and will send you in due course replacement page 3. of this specification.
