Dear Grylls,

Further to my letter re Instruction Books, I saw our technical people at Dagenham yesterday about this and they are looking through the booklets that you sent with a view to finding out wherein the differences lie and we will take it up with Exide although all this may take a little time.

It has always struck me that there was a lot of redundant information in these instructions rather of a laboratory nature about temperature conversion tables and things of this sort. Do you want such features to remain which might cover every possible set of circumstances in different parts of the world, or do you want it written more on the lines of what the average chauffeur or garage would be likely to understand and likely to do ?

Yours sincerely,

G.R.N. Minchin
