Dear Minchin,

Many thanks for your letter of 18th. There is entire agreement up here with your suggestion of shortening what we say about batteries in the instruction book. We hope, however, that when you take up the matter with "Exide" you will eliminate the instructions about the use of batteries in remote parts of the Empire.
