There are also four 8 cylinder units instructed to the shop. The specification for this engine is more advanced to date than the 6 cylinder. The main features are as laid down in -
By/CS.1/EH.5.7.39. and
By/CS.5/B.18.7.39.

The above memos. are actually the details for the "Alum 8" and we are having the patterns completed for this and the castings will be supplied to you within the next two or three weeks.
