RE. LIGHTER PHANTOM. X.8770 X.8840

We have been anxiously awaiting for many months the production of the Phantom engine with aluminium cylinders.

We should have sufficient capacity so that this work is not stopped for aero engine work, and if not, we must ask Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} to help us, either inside or outside the Works, to procure the necessary materials or machining for these improvements, which are so necessary and so hopeful.

This aluminium engine should have the improved induction pipe.

R.{Sir Henry Royce}
