We send you herewith drawings Nos. 1898 and 1899, shewing light-weight air valves in brass and aluminium respectively.

At the same time it is proposed that a smaller low speed throat should be tried in combination with these valves, to increase the depression in the mixture chamber in the initial stages.

We should be glad if you would instruct and test these designs experimentally.
