x79400 RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} c. to Ey. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}2/MJ.20.1.30. PHANTOM 11 REAR SPRINGS. We had hoped to fit the stiffer type rear springs to the 10,000 miles car fitted with rolled eye. now Firths' however tell us that they have no die for rolling the eye on a plate having the thickness of the top plate of the sports car rear spring and in consequence cannot give us delivery in the required time. It will therefore be necessary to use standard rear springs on this car with rolled eyes. The recommended poundage being 1200 minus. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
