V 200 a 4 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.10/KW.6.11.35. We wish to run flexible bladed fans of the Cadillac type on 6-B-IV and 21-G-IV in France. Will you please detail and make two sets of blades similar to that made for the Ph.III Cadillac type fan, except that - (1) The overall dia. should be 17" instead of 20". (2) The blade size to be scaled down from the Cadillac fan in ratio of .85:1. (3) One set should have blades made from spring steel .018" thick - as Cadillac. One set should have blades made from spring steel .012" thick. Will you also have the necessary adaptors made to fit these blades to Bentley and 20/25 Fan hubs, as was done in the case of the Ph.III fan. These adaptors will have to position the fans so that the trailing edges of the blades are clear of the fan pulleys. We are expecting to receive the actual Cadillac fan back from France any day now, and will hand it to you for a pattern. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std. | ||
