Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. W. Bond.

With reference to the Dunlop Tyres with arrow tread - open ends. We have tested these tyres on the road and our first impression of these tyres was, that they are still too noisy. The sucking effect on wet roads apparently has gone. Below we give the percentage of quietness with different tyres:-

Palmer Cord--------- 100%
Dunlop Magnum--------85%
Dunlop arrow tread---45%
Dunlop arrow tread open ends----------65%
