Straight Side Tyres on Experimental Car. Dear Sir, I have received a telephone message from you to-day on the subject of the modified tyres which you have tried, and I note that they are still unsatisfactory from the point of view of noise. I am, however, awaiting the formal report which you kindly promised to send, and must thank you for your attention to this matter. In the meantime we have under preparation tyres embodying further modifications, which we hope to let you have during the course of the next few days. We may communicate with you further on the subject towards the end of the week. Yours faithfully, THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO: LTD: W. Bond.
