Attached is a copy of a programme we are proposing to carry out to ascertain why the Bentley III bumper chassis behaves as it does on the drums.

Obviously, the presence of low speed wobbles during a bumper test produces an overload on the chassis, and it is, therefore, impossible to compare the results obtained on the chassis which is not running within the low speed wobble range with one which is wobbling. For this reason we have got to get rid of the observed phenomenon.
