Messrs. Wilmot-Breeden Ltd.,
Eastern Works,
Camden Street,
Birmingham 1.

For the attention of Mr. Spicer.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for the Bentley Bumper which has been tested on a car. We are now rather concerned about the overall width. Can you therefore make up another Bumper similar to the last only with an overall width of 62".

We presume that in order to tune the wider Bumper to the same frequency, less weight will be necessary in the pots. Is this as good as using increased thickness leaf springs?

As the last Bumper is not satisfactory owing to its width, will you please do your utmost to supply us with the new Bumper in the shortest possible time.

Thanking you for the trouble you have taken,

We remain,

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
