EFC. from Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} X8793 Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}4/T22.3.27 re Lucas Magnetos. We have given a very thorough test to the Lucas Magneto 54B 426 it has done equivalent to 300 miles on the road, and also 100 miles on the dynamometer. It is quite good for silence, and efficient sparking at all speeds. As you are no doubt aware, we had to make certain temporary modifications to make it fit our crankcase, and will not in its present form be interchangeable with the Watford Magneto. We are returning the magneto in question herewith. The second machine of this type you have already had returned to you. Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} | ||
