'SS{S. Smith}' REAR AXLE. X. 7350 X. 7520 X. 235 With reference to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/LG25.4.29: We understand that the rear shock damper bracket is not actually broken, and we presume that the report of weakness has arisen because it has been seen to bend. In order to be on the safe side however, on N.sch.2885 herewith, we have suggested that it might be thickened, the result being to double the strength, which appears to us to be adequate.
