S.S. REAR SHOCK DAMPER.

Herewith we send N. scheme 2883.
shewing the increased diameter of washer and split
pin lock for the piston dead eye, as instructed by R.{Sir Henry Royce}

The piston casting itself is the same
as N. scheme 2800. This necessitates a new cover in
order to give clearance, and we have taken the opportunity
of opening out the passages, though those in the main
body will not be touched for the moment.
