24, Holland Park Grds., London, W.14. W.A.Robotham, Esq., Exp.Dept., Rolls-Royce Ltd., Derby. Dear Mr.Robotham, Thank you ever so much for your letter of Aug. the 16th., I was under the impression that you were using a Dynamometer Car for your towing tests at Brooklands, and should have appreciated your opinion as to how near to Continental con ditions it is possible to get in these tests. As you may have seen from my previous letter I have now left Mr.Railton, with great regret I must say, because he was the best friend and adviser any young engi neer may wish to have, but was offered the job of Assistant Chief Engineer in charge of Research at Clement Talbot and Sunbeam, and with a view of gaining some new experience I accep ted. Thanking you once more, Yours sincerely J.C.Sampietro | ||
