Referring to Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}19/K.19.7.33., we rang up Messrs.Lucas this morning and their representative visited us this afternoon. We have handed to him the drawing showing what is required and he is arranging to look into the matter to see what can be done for us regarding the fitting of a suitable grill to match that over the front of the radiator. The matter is not so easy as it would appear from casual observation owing to the fact that the fitting of a grill on the front of the horn interferes with the characteristics of the horn, and it may be necessary for Messrs.Lucas to carry out tests on several grills before they can recommend a suitable grill for our chassis. They fully appreciate our desires in the matter and they are arranging to do all they can to meet our requirements. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. | ||
