.500" BARREL DRILLING MACHINES.

I am returning your folder of information in respect of "Builders" equipment as I already have particulars and delivery dates of these machines from A.Herberts.

Herbert's could deliver as many machines as we should require for 1,000 Barrels per week, by January, 1941.

Certain modifications would be required to give the most satisfactory speeds and feeds for our barrels as the particulars of the Builders machines do not agree with B.S.A. practice, and should any machines be ordered the modifications should be incorporated before delivery. We have all the necessary information, should it be required.

We have modified the Pratt & Whitney No.1.B machine at Glasgow.
