11th July 1940.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

I have received your letter of July 9th. We shall be very pleased to assist you in any way possible with the 40 m/m barrel boring, but unfortunately we can do nothing until we get our machines delivered and I am afraid September is the earliest date we can hope for. I will advise you as soon as these machines are delivered.

Yours very truly,

T. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Bird
