[crossed out] [STAMP: RECEIVED] 20 HP. VALVES. -------------------- We have now sufficient stock of Valves E.53158 made in special Valve Steel to Specification No. 238, for us to start using these valves at once. Will Mr. Shelton therefore kindly instruct this valve to be used and the Works should note that they should immediately commence building engines with the new valve. No further valve of the old type should be fitted. Any valves of the old type which have been finished off or partly finished, should be put into stock for the moment, and the numbers brought to my attention, when I will settle the matter up definitely by instructions as to how they should be dealt with.
