X235 To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/LG24. 7. 28 HYDRAULIC SHOCK ABSORBERS. X235 We have carried out a great many tests to try and explain the difference between the high and low pressure end diagrams upon which you commented. We have no explanation for the diagrams but are convinced that they are substantially correct. As with our standard air vent the phenomenon does not arise, we are not spending any more time on it unless you have any tests you would like us to conduct for your own information.
