W/S. To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. Wer. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Dar. E.1/HP.10.11.34. re Cadillac Car. Replying to your memo Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}12/E.9.11.34, a copy of my original memo E.3/HP.8.11.34 was meant to go to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and I am attaching one to his copy of this memo, as also copy of Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}12/E.9.11.34. Actually the SpectreCodename for Phantom III has the anti-rolling control coupled to the rear axle like the Cadillac and it is very difficult to transfer this to the front axle owing to the independent suspension and the space taken in allowing for the front wheel steering. It is a problem however, that we shall look into. We should like the test made by Hancock to show to some extent how much any contemplated alteration in the position of the anti-rolling control would be worth. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
